"Line Rage"

Remember when I blogged about this? Well, I was reading the news on the internet and there was an incident at Disney World where a woman beat up another woman over line jumping!!
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,340229,00.html That was exactly what I was blogging about almost a year ago. Clearly I was right to be concerned about standing up or shutting up. You just never know when someone is going to become unglued and bring you into their world of crazy.
And what is this about adding rage to things? We've all heard the road rage stories and how our stressful lives are causing seemingly normal people to lose control. I don't know. Did they have control in the first place? That's something we talk a lot about in our house. How if my girls don't control themselves, then I have to. It seems to make quite a bit of sense to them. They prefer to be able to control themselves. Are parents just not teaching as much of that as they should? Do they let free expression bloom into a raging case of self entitlement? Or just too much self awareness that people evolve into self oblivion?
On a different note, Princess Fiona came into my room at the early hour of 5am and insisted her tummy hurt. She is back on steroids and has a lot of those complaints this time of the month. I tried to talk her out of it, but I barely made it off my bed and my new fancy carpet with her before she started hurling everywhere. We were going in the dark to the toilet and afterwards, when I turned the lights on, it was amazing how many places she had managed to hit before she got to the toilet. I am very grateful that she made it into the bathroom first. I fell back asleep around 6am, but she got up and wandered off to play Webkinz for an hour and a half before she found the cat, and Dad, in the spare bedroom and woke them both up. I talked her into crawling in bed with me this morning and she is catching up on lost sleep. Unfortunately she missed the neighborhood Easter Egg hunt, but I think, on my way to the Y today, I will stop by Target and get stuff together for her and a few friends to hunt eggs in our yard.

I hate these kinds of stories. It makes you question yourself before you stand up to something. I guess you just have to go with your gut feeling!
Hope the barfs are short lived. Mine is complaining of stomach aches on steroids but has yet to throw up.

What an awful experience! We just loved our trip to Disney. Maybe the Mad Hatter attracts mad people. I did not even see the Tea Cups, maybe they should be avoided? :)
