with all the frills upon it. ( I love that song from Holiday Inn). Okay, so I didn't really wear an Easter bonnet. I thought about getting the girls Easter dresses, but I realized they have way too many clothes to begin with. I, on the other hand, don't have the biggest closet. It's very difficult to shop for me because, with regards to dresses, I am about 3 different sizes. Fiona and I were killing time a few Saturdays ago, waiting for Buttercup to be done with a birthday party. We walked past a dress shop and saw this dress in the window. I am not much of a girly girl. Growing up, I don't think I would be caught dead in pink. Having a couple of pink little girls, I now associate pink with happy things. So, I was the one with the pretty pink dress on Easter morning. It's amazing how pretty things can make you feel pretty.
We had a nice Easter. It was fairly low key because the past several weeks have been kind of hectic with Fiona and her issues. I talked her into going to church. She has been having a lot of stomach problems lately. I just didn't feel like making or eating a big Easter dinner or making and eating my usual Easter goodies. No one seemed to miss them. Buttercup was ecstatic because even though her Dad said he didn't really want a DVD of Enchanted, the Easter Bunny hadn't heard that admonition and she got it in her basket. We all sat down and watched it again. What a cute movie. I heard Fiona singing along with it and it stuck in my head, so today, while grocery shopping, I picked up the soundtrack. Just wait until Hubby hears us singing in the magic school bus!

You look fabulous! I can't believe how long your hair has gotten. I bet it's hard for someone as tall and slim as you to find a dress that fits right, but when it does, it looks amazing. Glad you had a fun Easter. My mom never bought a single Easter dress, but with the lone girl, it's pretty tempting for me. I have lots of hand-me-down dresses for Mary, but don't you think I deserve to pick one out once a year or so?
You look beautiful. Every once in a while, we non-pink girls need to don a girly frock. Just to change things up. I think the ribbon, the dots and the color all seem happy and Easter-y.
My dad had to endure his share of musical soundtracks with 2 daughters. I still haven't got a straight answer on where our "Annie" tape went in the middle of a long car trip. Hmmmmm.
You look so cute. Your hair has gotten really long. There were no musicals in my life until I had children. The boys make up their own.
Wow, you are a hottie!! What a cute dress on you. Pink is a great color. Easter sounds like it was perfect.
