Fiona's Pretties Take Two

I know I just got done (2 months ago) talking about getting Fiona's hair cut. For the longest time, over four years ago, we were very possessive of Fiona's hair. After it started falling out, she had wispy hairs that went along the back of her head. I was reluctant to cut them off because when she wore a hat, it looked like her hair was piled on top of her head under her hat. We (TD) ended up trimming them.
Later, we got her hair trimmed only when it became unruly or to cut off damaged ends. We got her hair cut right before Moe's wedding two months ago.
Two Sundays ago, she came to me and said she wanted to cut her hair much shorter. At first, I was really reluctant. We had fought so hard for that beautiful hair. But at some point, we have to get on with regular life. So, while the family was watching Harry Potter, I put her on a kitchen chair and cut off many inches. I even put in layers. I figured that I have seen it done enough times that I could probably do it. If it didn't work out, I would've just taken her to a salon the next day after school.
It turned out pretty well, if I do say so myself. She is very happy with it and I have to say, I do a lot less to her hair in the morning. It's a lot coarser, more like mine, than her sister. It's definitely wavy and it holds curl as well as mine. She is very pleased with her cut and I am happy that we are making our way to a totally normal life in every way.
