On the Tenth Day of Christmas

Our Elves brought us a box of 10 ho-hos. With this present they managed to bring something that would interest the man of the house. Hubby has really enjoyed the Ho-hos. The girls have been calling them Ho-ho-hos. I guess that's to give them more of a holiday tone.
We have been inundated with plates of goodies tonight. I am keeping track of who has brought us stuff. Next year I am going to be more on my game and give out our plates. I was blog surfing and I found the most amazing peppermint bark recipe.
All of you who have gotten a goody or two from us in years past know how proud I am of my baking skills. I am always looking forward to outdoing myself. Now if I can just convince Hubby that it is okay to give me things for the kitchen for Christmas or my birthday or even Valentine's Day. My latest purchase? A potato ricer. I made potatoes tonight, they come out of the ricer looking like pieces of grass or something, but the mashed potatoes are incredibly smooth. We are big fans of potatoes in this house, they being one of three vegetables that hubby will eat. The other two being corn and lettuce.

I think this time of year they should call them Ho-ho-ho's. They would probably sell better!

I am settling in to one last night of wrapping and ribboning and getting ready. I hope you are ready and enjoying these last days before Christmas.
