Since there has been constant requests of new pictures from the house, I will start doling out rooms! You can see the old dining room through the kitchen picture. The red was a matte and it seemed to pull the light into it making the room sort of a cave. Not at all what I want when I'm eating my meals! Plus, we had gone through several
sunrooms in new houses when we were touring and I wanted to get something like that in our house.
SO, here's the lighter brighter version of the dining room. I painted it a lighter cream. The wall where the painting is? That's exactly where I fell off the chair. Nice, huh? Since we made our formal dining room into our
Wii room, I wanted a really nice place to eat all meals. Plus, we would have never used the formal dining room. That's a pub table, too! For those of you who haven't met me in real life, I am 5'10". Regular tables and chairs aren't the coziest thing when you are that tall. Luckily, the girls seem old enough that no one should kill themselves on the higher chairs.

You are a brave woman to put a rug under your table. It looks very bright and cheery now. Although I do like the red too.
I hope you are fully mended. But go get a ladder with a handle.
I love your pub table. Keep posting the new house pictures -- inquiring minds want to know. Sorry about all of your family drama, by the way. It's so hard because there's really nothing you can do to change another person. I'm glad you have your own life far away.
Cheers to the tall girls who love to let their legs dangle (for once) off a tall pub chair! Great idea.
