On the Sixth and Seventh Days of Christmas

So the sixth day of Christmas brought us cookie cutters. I just wish I wasn't ( I hope) done with all of the holiday baking. I baked a lot and it didn't seem like we gave away a ton like we usually do. Of course, I didn't make quite as much as I usually do. But Fiona has enjoyed her 'Gingies'. Her only complaint was there were no gingerbread girls and lucky enough, there is a girl cookie cutter in the six they gave us. I have to say I have been enjoying them myself and might have to make another batch. Because I layered them in a container, they got a bit softer and it sure made it easy to wade through the gingerbread carnage and grab a head or two arms and convince myself I wasn't eating that much!
On the seventh day of Christmas we got 7 tags, plus a few more. This was great. I spent day before yesterday wrapping myself silly and I ran out of tags. Several of the presents are merely marked F or B in ink pen. Now I can go back through and address them properly to Fiona or Buttercup from the Jolly Old Elf.
Our carpet layers got done before Hubby got home by about 5 minutes. The girls and I were congregated in the study watching Fiona play checkers on www.northpole.com and pretended like we were all that excited to see him. He could tell right when he got in that the carpet was in, but he was very excited that he didn't have to spend his day off moving furniture while we were at Childrens and then spend the next day hanging out watching the carpet layers do their work for 8 hours. All in all, quite a good day.

I was wondering what day six brought. And I am so jealous of your carpet. Mine is now 12 years old and it shows. I am pretty sure carpet ages in dog years.
