Things are looking better today. Kind friends have been by with yummy dinners and special treats and people have been calling. TD has taken over phone duties. My throat was really sore and scratchy for a bit from the tube. I took off the four bandages. My belly button is really bruised, which is kind of weird. My stomach doesn't really hurt any more. The chest, neck, and back pain has been annoying.
I was able to take a shower this morning. I hate showers, they are too much work. My kitties were kind enough to follow me into the bathroom and keep me company. I think they were perturbed at me being in TD's shower. I can't take a bath until I see the doctor next week and she clears me for it. That makes me sad.
What is kind of surprising to me is that my stomach isn't any bigger than it was before. This includes all of the gas they pumped into me. So, all of the stuff they removed was clearly taking up some space. This gives me some hope for when I am deflated. Which, hopefully, is soon.
I did slip up this morning by rinsing a few dishes. TD heard me running water and came hollering. I will try and avoid the more hazardous areas of the house, you know, kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry room.
