I'm Melting, Melting

I woke up this morning and thought it was awfully warm. Some parts of the programmable thermostat haven't been thoroughly programmed since it started getting hot. So, I made sure it was on this morning, but nothing was coming out. UGh!! Things are starting to warm up, so it needs to get taken care of. We did get a year long warranty with the house, but I am not sure exactly what is covered. Plus, it is hot in the house!! So, even though I have been slacking in the housework department, I won't be able to hang out here all day and get it taken care of. But the warranty place got us a work guy to come out tonight. It's funny, I was on the with automated thing and it said, is this life threatening. So, I thought, not really, I mean I wouldn't be calling 911. But then it said, are you having high temperatures or do you have a serious illness, then I could say yes to both. We can't have Fiona getting overheated. Thank heavens she will be in an overly air conditioned school all day.
I will be off to the electronic store so I can purchase Wii Fit! I am very excited about this. Half of the fun seems to be in watching people do their thing. The girls and I are going to have a good time laughing at each other, once we get the air conditioning fixed.
Then I will have to spend some time at the Y.

Oh, man, our upstairs A/C stopped working last night! Ack! Hubby and I are *not* good at household fix-it types of things, so I wasn't even sure how extensive it could be. My husband guessed that maybe the air filters under the A/C units might be clogged. Ta da! That was it! 2 filters and $16 later it was up and running. THANK GOODNESS. This heat is a doozy, eh?

ps: have you seen the games you can get when you buy the Wii Points? We downloaded Super Mario Bros the other day and now we are all seriously addicted! We're going back and forth about the Wii Fit. We'll see. :)

The Wii Fit is so much fun!!!! The whole family is loving it. It is much harder than I thought it would be.

It is really funny to watch each other do it. The ski jump is really fun and my favorite at the moment.

A lack of AC in Texas is a life threatening emergency! Don't even think twice about it.

My sister sent me a text last night saying the bought wii fit. And Ellen gave them away on her show yesterday. And now, you too! I think it's a sign, I need a wii. :) I'm afraid if we got one, even under the guise of making exercise fun, we might completely ignore the rest of our lives. I mean our kiddo is only 4 months so he can't really be expected to play...or watch us play...
