School starting, sure, but no. Cooler temps...not really. Changing leaves, not here... New TV season!!!!! Yeah! We sat down and watched a new Office, which was hysterically funny. A new ER, which was totally sad. It even got TD sad. I love ER and I am sad that it's going off the air this year. At least I will have 15 years of re-runs to keep me company. TNT is kind enough to air two episodes every day.
I am excited that they brought back Life and Pushing Daisies. TD and I tried very hard not to collect new shows every year. There was one time, early in our marriage, I could tell you what we were watching the entire night, every night, based on the day. But last year, they had tons of new interesting shows and then we all got the shaft....stupid writers.
I am also delighted that we have a DVR. I taped Grey's Anatomy last night and I get to watch it today. TD is a bit more cynical. He says, sure we get a few episodes and then nothing for October. Then a few more episodes and then nothing for weeks. He has a point.

I get a little overly excited about new episodes too. I also try not to add new shows every year, but there are always a couple that capture my attention. I watched "The Mentalist" this week and found it pretty alluring. Last year it was "Brothers and Sisters," which Matt finds intolerable. I just realized I'll miss the season premiere tomorrow night and felt a little bad about that. Glad someone else is willing to admit to being a TV junkie.
