I am just not the biggest fan of this holiday. It seems like socially acceptable lying. I think we went through this a lot and not just on April 1st with the whole NOT! thing. Anyway, Buttercup came to me with a fun practical joke. Her teacher has a birthday on April 1st and she wanted to do something fun for her. A few months ago I got a cookbook that I have enjoyed thumbing through. She picked out a recipe and I made it for her.
How fun is this? I had the best time making it. I love it when people request that I make a particular thing. I think my favorite part is the mashed potatoes.
It actually kind of looks like mashed potatoes.
