Calling all of you Word Wizards Out There

I want to send out an end of treatment announcement, especially for our friends back in Oregon. I am just not sure how to word it. I don't want to say that Fiona has cured her cancer, it just seems to tempt fate, but something close to it. I am stumped on what exactly to say. Can you guys help me out? I have the cutest picture and a template from Walgreens, I just want to print out a picture card and send it. Thanks in advance! Ps, if you want a card sent, email me your address at ldscancermom at yahoo dot com.

I think End of Treatment / End of Chemotherapy is a fine way to phrase it. Since "remission" is achieved so early in treatment, that may not be the right word to use. And cured isn't the right word for a few more years, I think.
~Looking forward to getting on with life.
~Returning to a normal childhood.
~Say goodbye to chemo.
I'd love to see on your site.

How about a "Flushing Party"? Are there meds that she won't have to take ever again and you have a bit left? Other things don't get flushed - but could get tossed (you can donate some medical supplies but not everything).

[It's been a while but we weren't able to throw out everything right away so this may work for you or not.]

Just about any theme phrase you like with the word "Life" in it depending on your attitude. Loving Life - Celebrate Life - It's MY Life - Life is Good

I also like the "Say Good-bye to Chemo."

Just some thoughts. Congratulations on the approaching day. It was a little scary for us when we hit that stage, but now it's 10 years later and Life is definitely good.

I love ped crossing's suggestion. WAY cuter than what I would have come up wth. But the other suggestions were great too. I've been reading your blog but not commenting much (sorry! I'm a lurker!), so I am thrilled that this part is over and I have been so inspired and amazed at how you've handled everything. We miss you in book club and we wish you could join us at the beach this weekend for our book club getaway. It would be a nice way for you to celebrate the 'loss of your extra jobs'.
